Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the providers of Chatbotappai ("we", "us", "our"). Chatbotappai is operated by our technical provider, and subscriptions are sold and billed by our merchant of record. Full details are in section 16. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, apps, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Chatbotappai is

Chatbotappai is a single interface for chatting with, and generating content from, multiple third-party artificial-intelligence models. We route your requests to model providers through their official interfaces. We do not build or own these underlying models, and their behaviour is outside our control.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have verifiable parental or guardian consent, to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Plans, billing and trials

  • The Service offers a free tier and paid "Pro" plans, billed monthly or over longer periods.
  • A paid plan may begin with a trial (for example, a 7-day trial for a small upfront charge). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan converts to the recurring price shown at checkout.
  • Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the current period.
  • Prices, plans and usage limits may change; we will show current pricing at checkout. Taxes may apply. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
  • Subscriptions are sold and billed by Alvin AI Studio LLC as merchant of record. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store full card details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, privacy, or intellectual property;
  • generate or distribute malware, spam, or content that is harmful, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent limits, security, or access controls;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly allowed;
  • misrepresent AI-generated output as human-created where doing so is deceptive or unlawful.

We may suspend or limit accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms.

5. AI-generated output

AI models can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased, and may produce content that looks confident but is wrong. Output is provided for your use "as is" and is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). You are responsible for reviewing and verifying output before relying on it. Features that compare models are aids, not guarantees of correctness.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts, files, and other inputs you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service and to deliver your requests to the relevant model providers. As described in our Privacy Policy, we do not use Your Content to train models. You are responsible for having the rights to submit Your Content and for how you use any output.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we create, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Third-party models and services

The Service connects to models and tools from third parties (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and DeepSeek). We are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, these providers, and your use of their models may also be subject to their own terms and acceptable-use policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and costs arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we must do so for legal, security, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by posting the updated Terms with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law where you live provides otherwise.
